Sasaki Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament
35th ANNUAL SASAKI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 2022 Sasaki Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Sunnyvale Golf Course. The last tournament was held in August 2019 before the COVID pandemic started.
Thirty-nine golfers played on a nice pleasant day for golf. Everyone had fun playing golf and enjoyed meeting friends during the check-in and while golfing.

Thank you to all of the golfers for signing up and playing. And, thank you to the golfers and friends of the Temple who made monetary donations to the Sasaki Memorial Scholarship Fund.
SASAKI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Golf Tournament funds the Sasaki Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to college-bound, high school seniors who attended the Mountain View Buddhist Temple Dharma School and participated in other Buddhist activities.
Since the first scholarship was presented in 1986, 63 deserving high school graduates have received scholarships.
DEDICATED TO RICHARD ENDO & MATT CUSIMANO
This year’s golf tournament was dedicated to Richard Endo and Matt Cusimano. Richard and Matt were dedicated to the success of the golf tournament for decades.
To commemorate them, each golfer received lunch in an insulated lunch bag and a poker chip ball marker.
2023 SASAKI GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 2023 Sasaki Golf Tournament will plan for a 2023 tournament in August 2023. Hopefully, a banquet can be resumed.
