MVBT Health and Safety Procedures

for Level 1 Activities

Level 1 Activities:

Individual or Small Group visits/tasks/maintenance on temple grounds

Examples:  

  • Drop off/pickup mail at office

  • Periodic inspection/maintenance of temple facilities

  • “no-contact” pick up of pre-ordered items

  • Meeting/working with a contractor or others from different households on temple maintenance, inspections, or repairs that are required and cannot be avoided

Key Criteria:  

  • Not for social purposes

Safety Requirements:  

  • Self-screening for symptoms

  • Face mask worn at all times

  • Social distancing at all times

  • Keep unexpected encounters brief and to a minimum

  • If group visit/task/maintenance activity, should be held OUTDOORS when possible 

  • Health Attestation required if more than one person attending

If group visit/task/maintenance on temple grounds still requires scheduling with the Building Activities Committee to reserve the facility:  facilities@mvbuddhisttemple.org

Level 1 Activities do NOT require review by MVBT Health and Safety Committee

Provided all criteria are met and all safety protocols are followed

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health safety of Sensei and all attendees, please DO NOT ATTEND if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever ≥ 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • New Cough
  • New Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
  • Sore Throat
  • Runny nose or nasal congestion
  • Headache
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Severe Fatigue or Muscle Aches
  • Chills or repeated shaking
  • New loss of taste or smell
