Level 3 Activities:

MVBT Organization Group Activities ON-SITE at MVBT 

The group activity should not involve distributing items to others outside of the group unless it is “contact-less” distribution

Level 3 Activities do NOT require review by MVBT Health and Safety Committee

Provided all criteria are met and all safety protocols are followed

HOWEVER, Level 3 Activities MUST BE APPROVED by the Building Activities Committee to reserve the facilities.  Organizers must contact:

Organizers of the activity are required to fill out a Proposal for review by the MVBT Health and Safety Committee by clicking on the link below

Example of Level 3 Activities

  • Weekly MVBT Taiko practice
  • BWA social gathering
  • YBA social gathering
  • Senior Care Package if delivery is contact-less

INDOOR locations eligible for activities

  • YBA Hall – Maximum occupancy 24 people
  • Sangha Hall Foyer – Maximum occupancy 24 people
  • Sangha Hall Game Room – Maximum occupancy 20 people
  • Sangha Hall Pancake Room – Maximum occupancy 8 people
  • Sangha Hall Kitchen – Maximum occupancy 8 people

 

The maximum number of attendees will be limited by the capacity for each location

 

Please note that use of these locations require set up and use of special HEPA air purifiers during any activity.  Please be sure to follow all instructions for the specific indoor location.

All other indoor locations are not currently eligible for use at this time as we are unable to guarantee adequate air quality/filtration.  Please note that use of indoor activities

 

Requirements for Level 3 Activities

The following MUST be strictly adhered to by the organization and any attendees of the activity:
  • A Level 3 Activity Submission form to document plans for the activity must be submitted
  • Activity must be organized or sponsored by an MVBT Affiliated Organization
  • A designated Health Officer must be identified for each activity.  The Health Officer must be an MVBT member.
  • Use only the designated restroom facilities and only one person at a time.
  • No more than 30 attendees maximum for outdoor events.  Maximum attendee number for indoor events will be limited by the capacity for the specific location and will be < 30 people.
  • Vaccinations:
    • For OUTDOOR activities: Vaccination plus booster for those booster eligible is not required but STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all attendees
    • For INDOOR activities:  Vaccination plus booster for those booster eligible IS REQUIRED for ALL attendees
  • Face masks required for both indoor and outdoor events, regardless of vaccination status
  • All attendees must complete a Health Attestation Form (Online or Paper) on the day of activity
  • The Health Officer is responsible for:
    • Confirming all attendees have completed Health Attestation form on the day of the activity (proof of completion must be reviewed)
    • Collecting any PAPER Attestation Forms and entering them electronically into Jotform for record keeping
    • Assuring all safety protocols are followed
  • If any attendees test positive for COVID19 within 7 days of the event/meeting/service, that attendee will notify the designated Health Officer or contact MVBT at (650) 964-9426
  • More than one Level 3 or 4 activity may occur at the same time provided each activity is held in a different building (As approved by the Building Activities Committee) and groups do not intermingle.

Safety Protocols for Level 3 Activities

The MVBT Health and Safety Committee recommends the following as best practice measures to prevent to spread of COVID19 and protect the health of all attendees:
 
  • COVID19 Vaccinations:
    • For OUTDOOR activities: Vaccination plus booster for those booster eligible is not required but STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all attendees
    • For INDOOR activities:  Vaccination plus booster for those booster eligible IS REQUIRED for ALL attendees
  • Face masks worn at all times (except when eating/drinking while socially distanced) for both indoor and outdoor events, regardless of vaccination status
  • Attendees who DO NOT LIVE in the SAME HOUSE should:
    • Stay at least 6 feet apart and practice good hand hygiene
    • Avoid holding or shaking hands, hugging, or kissing
    • Limit sharing items
  • Eating/drinking together is discouraged.  However, if individual food or drinks are consumed, attendees should be socially distanced (minimum 6 feet) from others, time spent eating/drinking should be minimized, and masks should be put back on as soon as finished eating. 
  • Hands should be sanitized after eating/drinking.
  • Buffet style food and sharing of food between attendees from different households is discouraged
  • No more than 30 attendees maximum for outdoor events. Maximum attendee number for indoor events will be limited by the capacity for the specific location and will be < 30 people.
  • More than one level 3 or 4 activity may be held at the same time provided each activity is held in a different building and the groups do not intermingle 
  • Use only the designated restroom facilities and only one person at a time.

It is the responsibility of the MVBT affiliated organization leaders to protect the safety of all attendees at any planned activities.  The above measures are recommendations to minimize the risk of exposure and decrease the spread of COVID19.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health safety of Sensei and all attendees, please DO NOT ATTEND if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever ≥ 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • New Cough
  • New Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
  • Sore Throat
  • Runny nose or nasal congestion
  • Headache
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Severe Fatigue or Muscle Aches
  • Chills or repeated shaking
  • New loss of taste or smell
