Dear MVBT Sangha & Friends:

It’s been a crazy year and unfortunately we haven’t been able to do the things we normally do around here like Chicken Teriyaki, Obon & Bazaar, Sangha Day Picnic, and Keiro-kai Luncheon. But thanks to technology, we’ve been able to (hopefully) brighten your day and provide some sense of normalcy through our various virtual programs as we all deal with COVID-19 in the best way possible.

One of our biggest community activities has always been Mochitsuki. This annual event has served not only as a temple fundraiser, but more importantly as a social event that brought together family, old friends and new friends alike at MVBT to celebrate this cultural tradition.

This year’s “virtual” Mochitsuki will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Please see agenda below:
